Overview
The purpose of this portfolio is to reflect on the SAS Standards and Benchmarks for specialist teachers. Over a three year period, evidence and reflection will be provided for the Standards and Benchmarks in all four Performance Areas.
About Kris Sheehan
I am a technology resource facilitator at the elementary school on the SAS Puxi Campus. I work with the teachers and students in Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, Grade 2 and Grade 4 classrooms. I have also taught high school technology, middle school technology, middle school social studies, and been a classroom teacher in both sixth and third grade classrooms. I have a BA in Elementary Education from Seattle University and an MA in Computing and Education from Teacher's College.

2011 - 2012 school year benchmarks will be in purple -- A4, A6, B1, B4, C2, C4, D3, D6 Standard A3 - Establishing goals for the instructional support program appropriate to the setting and the teachers served Standard A6 - Developing a plan to evaluate the instructional support program Standard B3 - Establishing clear procedures for teachers to gain access to instructional support Standard B4 - Establishing and maintaining norms of behavior for professional interactions Standard C2 - Engaging teachers in learning new instructional skills Standard C4 - Locating resources for teachers to support instructional improvement Standard D6 - Showing professionalism, including integrity and confidentiality
